Susan Baseheart, 75, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Summerfield, Florida. Susan is survived by Richard Baseheart - son, of Orlando. Susan is preceded in death by husband Joseph Baseheart, by father Floranteen Czepyha, and mother Jenna Czepyha, and brother Lee Czepyha. She is survived by siblings Donald Czepyha, Diane (Czepyha) Price, John Czepyha, and Charles Czepyha.Susan Czepyha was born 5/11/1949 in Massachusetts. She moved to Pennsylvania and New Jersey as a child. As a teen, her family moved to Orensboro, Kentucky. She met her future husband Greg Baseheart while in High School. They were married on September 3, 1969. They then moved to Key West, Florida. On January 28, 1971, they had a child they named Richard who was born in Gainesville, Florida. Susan graduated from the University of Florida in 1980 with an Accounting Degree. The family moved to Seattle, Washington in 1983, then to Tampa, Florida in 1986. They subsequently returned to Gainesville in 2009. She was a caring and loving mother and a faithful wife to her husband. She was also a devoted and hard working employee at every job she held. She will be greatly missed.The service for Susan will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
