Susan Gayle Cox

Mrs. Susan Gayle Cox age 50, of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, in Gainesville following an extended illness. She was born June 13, 1971, in Jacksonville to Paul and Mary Ann (Matthews) Cox. Susan graduated from KHHS in 1989 and earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and was employed with VyStar Credit Union for many years. She was raised Catholic and was very active and involved with Society for Creative Anachronism. Susan also loved traveling especially to Disney World and trying out different foods. Susan was preceded in death by her father Paul Elmo Cox. Her survivors are her loving husband of 26 wonderful years John Schiffermuller and her mother Mary Ann (Matthews) Cox both of Keystone Heights; brother Mike Cox (Tammi) of Ft. Walton Beach and their children Bradley Cox and Elizabeth Roberts; sister in-law Anna Doreen Brown (Tom) of Kennesaw, Georgia and their children Shelby Brown and William Brown. Also left behind are her Uncle and Aunt Larry and Marion Cox of Melrose along with four cousins, extended family and friends and her five precious fur babies that will miss her dearly. A memorial service for Susan will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to the Susan G. Komen Memorial, 4700 N.
