Susan Irene Hall, age 88, of High Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on 03/14/2024. She was born on July 19th in Tampa, Florida, to her loving parents Arthur and Carrie Bell Strickland. Susan was a devout Christian whose unwavering faith guided her throughout her life.Susan dedicated herself tirelessly, embodying the values of hard work and perseverance. She spent many years of her life at GE in Alachua, Florida, where she contributed her skills and passion until her well-deserved retirement.Family was the cornerstone of Susan's life. She was the beloved widow of Curtis Hall, and together they shared a life filled with love and cherished memories. Susan's devotion extended to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she nurtured and cared for with boundless love and wisdom. She led her family by example, instilling in them the importance of faith, kindness, and resilience.Susan is survived by her daughter Kathy Hall of Lake Butler, Florida; her grandchildren Mike Fassett (spouse Gidget) of Lake Butler, Florida, Alesha Southern of High Springs, Florida, Misty Redding of Lake Butler, Florida, Eddie Decker of Gainesville, Florida, Lisa Arnold (spouse Billy) of Lake Butler, Florida, Tina Torres (spouse George) of Jacksonville, Florida, daughter-in-law Diana Hall of High Springs, Florida, Dana Hall (spouse Ryan) of High Springs, Florida, and Derek Hall (spouse Amanda) of High Springs, Florida. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.Susan was preceded in death by her beloved husband Curtis Hall, her son Terry Hall, her mother Carrie Strickland, and her father Arthur Strickland.Susan's legacy of love, faith, and hard work will continue to inspire all who knew her.
