Susie King-Moore

Mrs. Susie King-Moore age 53, of Starke passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She was born March 10, 1965 in Gainesville and has been a longtime resident of Starke. Prior to retirement she worked in the banking industry as a loan officer. Susie was a Southern Baptist who enjoyed cooking, going to the beach and flowers; she was also an animal lover having numerous cats and dogs over the years. Susie was known for being a loving mother to her children, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Rodney King and her biological father Johnny Wales. Her survivors are her husband of 26 years, Wayne Moore; mother and step-father Sylvia (Broskey) and Lee Padgett of Interlachen; father Richard Davis of Gainesville; two sons D.J. Zwicker (Kayla Young) and Ricky King (Karen) all of Starke; two step-children Clint Moore of Raiford and Kelly Rolling (Matt) of Keystone Heights; sister Laura Marie Alligood (Byron) of Keystone Heights and a brother Wesley Pryde of Interlachen. Also left behind are nine grandchildren Wyett King and Kenley King along with Logan, Ashley, Darren, Conner, Crystal, Clinton, Cody and nephews, Richard Jernigan and Kenneth Jernigan. The family will receive friends in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel Friday, May 11, 2018 between 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2017 in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Pastor Jason Crawford and Pastor Jeremy Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Sapp Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E.
