Sylvia McCauley , 80, of Jacksonville Florida passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026.

Born on November 21, 1945 in Jacksonville, FL. She was devoted to her family, and found her greatest joy in the people she loved most. Her kindness, strength and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.

Sylvia is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Tommy Mccauley; her son, Raymond McCauley (Susie); five cherished grandchildren, Ricky, Ryan, Caleb, Hannah, and Addison; and four beloved, great grandchildren, with another great grandchild expected to arrive in August. She is also survived by her two brothers, Ricky Lloyd and David Lloyd; as well as nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Evelyn Lloyd; her beloved son, Randall McCauley ; her sister, Charlotte; and her brother, Lewis Lloyd.

Sylvia's life was a testament to the importance of family and love. She leaves behind a legacy of treasured memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.

She will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM from the graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Boby Epps officiating. Arrangements under the care of Moloney-Hewell Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard South, Jacksonville, FL 32206
