Tara Michelle Robertson, 37, passed away Tuesday April 29, 2014 at home in Alabama after her battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday May 5, 2014 at University Baptist Church, 5520 University Blvd., W. with Dr. Travis Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday May 4, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. Tara was born and raised in Jacksonville and has spent the last 18 years living in many areas around the world as a dedicated military wife and wonderful, loving mother. She was preceded in death by her sister, Amanda Knutson and her papa, Bill Jenkins. Tara is survived by her husband, Major David L. Robertson, USAF; her children Nickolas, Nathaniel, Noah her mother, Ann May (Tommy); her father, Jeff Lockamy; her grandmother, Rosa Jenkins; her uncle, Joe Jenkins(Sherry), grandparents Lysbeth Brown and Ed Lockamy and many extended family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tara's name to Wounded Warrior Project or Child Cancer Fund of Jacksonville, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
