Terry J. Carver

Mr. Terry J. Carver age 58 of Starke, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018, following an extended illness at Parkside Assisted Living Facility. He was born April 4, 1960, in Jacksonville and graduated with the Class of 1978 from Bradford County High School then earned his degree from the University of North Florida. Terry loved his job working at the Bradford County Library and counted the staff there as lifelong friends. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church. Terry was always ready to talk about the Florida Gators and didnt miss watching a football or basketball game. He was also known for being a jokester and loved a good joke or prank, but most of all Terry loved his family and spending time with them. After a courageous five year battle with Parkinsons disease Terry has joined his two sisters Vickie Carver and Kelli Ford; his parents Jay T. Carver and Phyllis Carver Dreessen and his step-father Frank Dreessen. Terry will forever be remembered by his loving and dedicated wife of ten years Mary (Richardson) Carver; his beloved children Andrew (Charlene) Carver, Zachary Carver, Courtney (Patrick) Ingoldsby and Cody Stinnett. Also left behind are his niece Bailey Turner; nephew Spencer Tuner and many aunts, uncles and cousins; his mother in-law Hazel (Hart) Richardson and the mother of his children Rochelle Carver. Mary would like to thank the staff at Parkside Assisted Living for treating Terry like family and taking such great care of him. A memorial service for Terry will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019, in the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Michael Moore officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the service beginning at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Michael J.
