Thangavelu Subramaniam Ganesh, 82, of Gainesville, FL, passed away on November 10. Funeral service will be held at Forest Meadows Funeral Home on Monday, November 15 at 10am withvisitation starting at 9am.Thangavelu was born in Wellington, Tamil Nadu to Palani Maistry Subramaniam and LakshmiSubramaniam onJune 6, 1939. A graduate of Madurai Medical College, he went onto be a successful Psychiatrist working as Chief of Psychiatry in the VA Medical system and later for the state hospital system. After his retirement he worked with the Indian Cultural andEducational Center and Devi Temple of Florida.
