Mrs. Theresa Sue Ison age 83 of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday April 4, 2013 at the Orange Park Medical Center. Mrs. Ison was born in Defeated Creek, Kentucky on October 10, 1929 to the late Charles and Mary (Riddle) Ison. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for Wal-Mart as a Greeter, and was a member of the Lake Hill Baptist Church. She loved fishing, gardening and having chocolate chip cookies too. She was preceded in death by her sister Mattie Lou Haugli and 4 brothers, Marvin, Don, Ike, and Herb. Survivors are her brothers; Bruce Ison, Cliff Ison, and Everett Ison. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the South Middleburg Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Snell officiating. The family has requested for donations to be made to the Haven Hospice Custead Care Center, 745 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL 32065 in memory of Mrs. Ison.
