Sergeant Therron Randall (Randy) Johnson age 57 of Keystone Heights passed away in his home Sunday, December 17, 2023. Therron was born May 6, 1966, in Jacksonville to Herbert Johnson and Caroline (Sutton) Williams. After dedicating 21+ years in the United States Air Force, United States Army, Air National Guard, and Civil Service, and serving 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, Therron retired a decorated Sergeant. He was a man of faith who loved Jesus, his children, his family, and friends. He loved working on cars, helicopters and airplanes. He was passionate about surfing, skateboarding, playing the guitar, target shooting, gardening and watching the Florida Gators and Jaguars football. Therron was an exceptional, talented, artistic, and adventurous guy who was loved by many. His father, Herbert Johnson, preceded him in death as well as his bonus father, James Williams. He is survived by his children Christian Johnson and Skylar Johnson, both of Keystone Heights; his mother Caroline Williams of Hayden, Alabama; a sister Candace Johnson of Hayden, Alabama; his extended sisters Michele Yoder and Charlene Altman, and brother Brett Williams. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2023, with Chaplain Brian Garrison officiating. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
