Mr. Thomas Keating Boyle was born on June 5, 1939, in Seneca Falls, New York. His parents were Chester Boyle and Elizabeth Letellier. They moved to Floral Park, NY. Toms siblings are Kevin (deceased), Kieran Boyle, Kathy Melsness. In Garden City High School, he participated in wrestling and track. He met Marianne Klein as a Senior. He received a track scholarship from Fordham University in Brox, New York. Upon graduation, he became engaged to Marianne. He went to the Navy OCS School in Newport, RI after graduation. He and Marianne were married in 1962. His 3 years in the Navy were in Supply School in Athens, GA then aboard the USS Champlain carrier based in Newport Rich. After 3 years in service Tom returned to work at J & J in E. Brunswick, NJ. The couple had 5 offspring, Michelle Elaine of St. Augustine, FL, Diane Marie of Venice, FL, Sharon Elizabeth of Olympia, WA, Michael David of Charleston, SC, and Dennis Matthew of Tega Cay, SC. Tom worked as executive in upper management of several manufacturing companies, Leeds Travelware, Seagrams Packaging, Letraset, and CourTools Performance Film. After his retirement, he and Marianne traveled some, did missionary work, and traveled to visit their family. They have 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Tom and Marianne lived at Elder Spirit Community in Arlington, VA before moving to Penney Retirement Community in Penney Farms, FL in 2020. The family will receive friends Friday, May 24, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Penney Memorial Church with Father Donal Sullivan officiating. Interment will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA).
