Mr. Thomas Newell Carlton 77, of Waldo died at Park Meadows Health & Rehabilitation Center on Saturday February 27, 2010. Mr. Carlton was born in Wauchula, FL on May 15, 1932 to the late Marion Moses and Flora (Hendry) Carlton. Mr. Carlton has been a long time resident of the Waldo area, he attended the Assembly of God Church in Trenton and was self employed. His survivors include his children: Andrew N. Carlton of Keystone Heights, Paul Carlton of Tennessee, Sarah Buckhalter of Hawthorne, and the mother of his children, Belle Harper of Starke. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, and Care giver, Jeannie Chickering of Trenton. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 2 oclock at the Waldo Cemetery with viewing being held prior to the service at the cemetery.
