Thomas I. Coats, Sr. Funeral services for Thomas I. Coats Sr., 80, who died April 29, 2012, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 with Rev. Frank J. Pintello Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12-2 PM prior to service. Mr. Coats was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of the Baptist faith and had retired from Walgreens and Revlon serving both companies for 15 years each. Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Elizabeth; 3 sons, John Coats (Laura), Tom Coats (Paula), and Jerry Coats. 9 grandchildren, Brian, Kelly, Sarah, Lisa, Roxanna, David Jr., Jeremy, Jason and Justin; 13 great-grandchildren.
