Thomas Allen Garrett Sr., age 78, passed away on March 9th. He was born on November 14, 1945, in Woodbury, GA to Luther Freeman and Tommie Sue Garrett who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Allen Garrett Jr., aka TAG. He is survived by his daughters; Tammy Garrett and Laurie Rider and her husband Chris; grandchildren, Haylee Thomas and her husband Chris and Christian Rider; great grandchildren, Teagan Saccocio and Christopher Thomas; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Cathy Garrett and his sister Frances McKinney. Tommy served in the Marine Corp for 6 years and retired from May & Company, Kelloggs, and Tractor Supply Company. He loved college football and lived to see his UGA Bulldogs win back-to-back championships. A memorial service celebrating Tommys life will be held on March 16th at 10AM in the DeWitt c. Jones Chapel. Tommy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Arrangements are by Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home, 620 E. Nona St. Starke, FL 32091.
