Thomas L. Hill, 65 of Gainesville died on Saturday, December 27, 2014 surrounding by family. Thomas was a lifelong resident of Gainesville, Graduating from GHS in 1967. Thomas retired as a meat cutter and was an avid Gator fan, enjoyed fishing and playing cards. But, most of all he loved his role as a grandfather. Thomas is survived by his wife Janet, sons Thomas, II (Stacy) and Roger, a brother Charlie Hill and sister Nancy Carlton(Paul). Funeral services for Mr. Hill will be held Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at 12:00pm at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior starting at 11:00am.
