Thomas (Tom) Willam Hyslop III, 71 of Jacksonville, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, June 27,2023. He is survived by his loving family who carry him in their hearts, including his wife Floye S. Hyslop,two sons; Tom (Mindy) W. Hyslop IV of Jax, FL and Adam Preston Hyslop of Jax, FL, a sister Debbie (Mike) Agee of Middleburg,FL, four grandchildren; Mackenzie J. Hyslop, Caleb P. Hyslop, Colin T. Hyslop and William R. Hyslop all of Jacksonville, FL and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was born on April 15, 1952 in Charlotte, NC to the late Margaret and Thomas Hyslop, Jr. He was a past Master of the Masonic Duval Lodge 159, a past Patron of the Eastern Star Southside Chapter #28 and a member of Local Union 435 SMART.An avid hunter and fisherman, Tom loved the outdoors. More than anything though, he enjoyed spending time with hisfamily and friends.Tom's was a life so beautifully lived. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216 on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11AM. Following the service at the funeral home the congregation is invited to a luncheon at the Masonic Duval Lodge 159 F&AM, located at 2620 DeanRoad Jacksonville, FL 32216. The family will receive friends for a visitation at the funeral home between the hours of 6-8PM on Friday, June 30, 2023.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tom's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation and to the AutismSpeaks Foundation.
