Mr. Thomas Scott "Tom" Norris, age 85, of Keystone Heights passed away at his home, Monday, November 24, 2014. Mr. Norris was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on July 22, 1929 to the late Max P. and Sara (Bower) Norris and has been a resident of Keystone Heights since 1990 moving here from South Carolina. Mr. Norris was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. Prior to retirement he had owned and operated Jordan/Norris Printing in Kissimmee. He was a man with a strong Christian faith; a member of the Immanuel Church and a former member of the Keystone Lions Club and Keystone Golf and Country Club. Along with being an avid Florida Gator Fan, he enjoyed fishing, golfing and all college sports. Mr. Norris is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jane (Hetherington) Norris; six children, Dixie Lee Kist (Rod) and Dolores "Deedee" Ashby ( Tony) all of Paisley, Thomas Norris, Jr. (Debbie) of Lexington, South Carolina, Kenneth Norris (Naomi) and James "Jim" Parker (Patty) all of Saint Cloud, and Belinda Gaines (Mike) of Otto, North Carolina. Also left behind is his sister, Carol Moherman of Ohio, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and caregivers, Brenda Ross of Bostwick and Carol Stockton of Palatka. A memorial service for Mr. Norris will be at 11:0 a.m., on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the Friendship Bible Church 1155 Orchid Ave., Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
