Thomas Denson Ramsey age 87 of Melrose passed away at the E.T. York Care Center on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Tom was born on October 6, 1934, in Lambert, Mississippi to the late Everett and Edna (Keel) Ramsey. Tom was a hard-working man and held many jobs. Following high school Tom served in the United States Army. In 1961 he moved to Winter Haven, FL where he met, his late wife, Mary and her four children. In 1973 he moved to McIntosh, FL where he owned and ran McIntosh Fish Camp. In 1978 the family moved to Waldo, FL where he started his business Tom Cypress located on US Hwy 301. Tom was also the largest Coke memorabilia distributor in the southeast. He never retired from these two endeavors.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ramsey; parents; sisters, Annette Dunn, Irma Hawkins, and Evelyn Wright and his brother, Randolph Ramsey. Survivors include his daughters, Donna Jones of Waldo and Janet Bruce of Altoona, Alabama; sons, Davy (Dawn) Jones of Raynham, Massachusetts and Philip (Wanda) Jones of Keystone Heights; brother, Bill F. Ramsey of Centerpoint, Alabama; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Forest Meadows Memorial Park-West: 700 NW 143rd Street, Newberry, FL 32669. Services will be officiated by Dr. Jamie Jones.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Thomas D.
