Thomas Ruiz

Mr. Thomas Ruiz, Jr. age, 80 of Lawtey, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Community Hospice St. Vincents Riverside in Jacksonville. Mr. Ruiz was born on October 11, 1940 in Victoria, Texas to the late Thomas Ruiz Sr. and Theresa (Reyna) Ruiz. Prior to retirement he worked as a welder. Thomas was a hard worker who enjoyed spending time with family and talking. In his spare time, he loved golfing and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Antonia Abuyaqian, Manuela Ruiz, Adolfo Ruiz, and Mary Lee. Survivors are siblings, Guadalupe R. Stephens of Houston, TX, Delia Serry of Lawtey, and Carlos Ruiz of Corpus Christi, TX. Also left are nieces and nephews, Ryan, Jessica, Tabitha, Belinda, and Tracy.
