Thomas L. Stokes

Thomas L. Stokes, age 66, of Gainesville, FL. passed away on September 3, 2018. Thomas is a native of Gainesville, born on December 16, 1951, to Joe & Jo Ann Stokes. Thomas was a retired Alachua County Corrections Officer, and Christian by faith. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Edward Stokes. He is survived by his loving mother, Jo Ann Stokes, sons; Ryan Stokes and Evan Stokes, and their mother, Sandy Stokes, as well as two granddaughters, Kaylee and Ella Stokes. Memorial Services will be held at Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, 725 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, FL 32609, on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at 11 AM, with Dr. Calvin J. Carr, Pastor of the North Central Baptist Church officiating. There will be a gathering for family and friends thirty minutes prior to services.
