Tillmon "Pete" Richardson

Mr. Tillmon "Pete" Richardson age 82, of Starke passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. He was born in Douglas, Georgia on September 25, 1934 to the late Noah and Minnie (Joiner) Richardson. Mr. Richardson had been a resident of St. Cloud prior to making his home in Starke in 1966, and had retired from Hercules Corp. as a Shop Forman. He was a member of First Baptist Church and had served in the United States Army serving in the Korean War. Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Hazel (Hart) Richardson and their four children, Rose (Richard) Harrison of Starke, Linda (John) Zubke of Pensacola, Mary (Terry) Carver of Starke and Pete (Sharon) Richardson of Ft. White. Also left behind is a sister, Dot Blevins of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Cody Stinnett, Pete Richardson, Juanita Richardson-Levesque and Frances (Michael) McKenna along with two great grandchildren, Wesley and Gauge Richardson. Viewing for Mr. Richardson will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Crook officiating. Interment will follow at Crosby Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bradford County Food Pantry, P.O. Box 1094, Starke, FL 32091.
