Timothy Brian "Tim" Shelton

Mr. Timothy "Tim" Brian Shelton, age 53, of Keystone Heights passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 in Palatka at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center. He was born in Sandpoint, Idaho on February 12, 1962 to the late Ivan and Shirley (Case) Shelton and served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Shelton moved to Keystone Heights from Cedaredge, Colorado one month ago and had retired as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, bow hunting and enjoyed guns. Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife of 23 years, Martha (Haas), and five children, Melissa Hughes (David) of Baltimore, Maryland, David Eldridge (Christina) of San Diego, California, Josh Skinner of Moreno Valley, California, Lyndsay Shelton (Johanna) of San Diego, California and Brian Shelton (Jessica) of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Also left behind is a sister in law, Mary Kittrell of Keystone Heights; a brother in law, Charles Haas of Lakeshore, California; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor James Peoples and Pastor Scott Stanland officiating.
