Tom Conner

Tom Conner passed away unexpectedly on October 8. Tom was born September 30, 1953 in Jacksonville, Fl. He is predeceased by his parents, Rev. Melvin Conner and Nancy Loutrelle Conner. He is survived by his son Stephen Conner, two sisters Janice Holloway and Kathy Rossiter, nieces and nephews, and his good friends Eddie and Colleen Rodriguez.Tom was an active member of the Riverside Avenue Christian Church since 2002 where he served in many positions. He loved his church and leaves behind many good friends.Tom was an employee at St. Vincents Hospital Riverside for over thirty-nine years and made life-long friendships there. He was so looking forward to retirement the week after Thanksgiving! He has a better retirement now though with greater benefits in heaven!Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., October 19 at Riverside Avenue Christian Church, 2841 Riverside Ave. The family will receive family and friends for a visitation at 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will be in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens for family and close friends following the service. The Rev. Erin Dickey will officiate.Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
