Mr. Tom Charles Stalling, Jr. 79 of Keystone Heights passed away Monday, November 30, 2020, at the Plaza Health and Rehab in Gainesville. He was born February 3, 1941, in Cordele, Georgia to the late Tom and Esther (Thompson) Stallings, Sr.. Tom worked in aftermarket automotive sales from 1961 until his retirement in 2006. First and foremost he is a Christian; he also enjoyed being outdoors duck hunting, golfing, fishing and traveling to the mountains. He would stay busy always working and was known for being sweet, short and to the point and letting everyone know that breakfast was his favorite. Tom leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of nearly 60 years Carolyn (Kiser) Stallings of Keystone Heights and their three sons Tom C. Stallings III (Sherrard) of Kissimmee, Carey K. Stallings (Lillian) of Keystone Heights and Jeffery T. Stallings (Susan) of Jacksonville along with three siblings Melissa Stallings Griggs of Hiawassee, Georgia, Harry C. Stallings (Margaret) of Gainesville, FL and Hiawassee, Georgia and Susan S. Sahler (Hunter) of Tampa. He was also lovingly called "Grandpa" by Ryan, Brittany, Jarrod, Tom IV, Rachel, Connor, Caleb, Josiah, Erika and Carolyn. Also left behind are numerous nephews, nieces and extended family members and friends that will miss him dearly. A memorial service for Mr. Stallings will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021, in Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Denmark and Pastor Richard Cicio officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Rodeheaver Boys Ranch, 380 Boys Ranch Road, Palatka, FL 32177 or to your local Salvation Army.
