Tony Alan Gonzalez age 41 of Jacksonville

Tony Alan Gonzalez, age 41 of Jacksonville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Orange Park Medical Center. He was born on September 17, 1984, in Houston, Texas, to Enemencio Gonzalez and Karen (Bell) Walker. 

Tony was a talented man with a passion for tinkering on cars and enjoyed drawing when he was younger. He had a unique sense of style, being known as a "sneaker head" with an impressive collection of shoes and clothes. He loved skateboarding and rollerblading, finding joy on wheels. Most importantly, Tony was a man of faith – he read the Bible twice and always encouraged others to live by the laws of the land and be good citizens. 

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his brother MGySgt Eric Gonzalez this past May of whom he had a special connection. 

He is survived by his mother, Karen (Bell) Walker; grandmother, Dorothy Thomas; aunt, Cheryl Beebe; and his nephews, Ethan and Eric Gonzalez. Also left behind are cousins, extended family members, and friends that will miss him dearly. Tony also had a soft spot for his cherished dogs, Gabriel, Tori, and Targa, who brought him a lot of joy. 

Viewing for Tony will be held on at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM with Mr. Bill Boggess officiating. Interment will be at Penney Farms Cemetery.
