Tracie was born in Jacksonville, FL to Gerald and Jeanie Savery on Feb 5th, 1969. She was from that day until his death her daddy's "angel" and then upon a turn of events became an angel to her mom as her caregiver.Even as we grieve her loss the joy we feel at the thought of the reunion between her and her dad, what a moment that must have been. She is also survived by her older brother Gerald "Jerry" Savery Jr. theirs was a relationship of great sibling love, loyalty and respect. She was his biggest cheerleader and actually answered to MeatHead with a smile. She is survived by her sister in law Michele McCormick Savery. The two of them grew up through teen years, becoming young wives and new mothers to being grandmothers together as sisters. Her nephews Troy and Kyle and her niece Jeanette Savery. All of whom brought her such happiness. She loved and treated them as her own.Jeanette gave her a great nephew Cody whom she absolutely adored.Life wasn't always easy on her body but in her low moments she would pull herself together with a gorgeous pallet, a lot of glitter and a splash of body spray and find her joy.10 years ago life brought her joy again when she met Berry Martin and married him. Though their story was cut short way to soon, what a great one it was. She was a wonderful wife, best friend, loving companion and learned to appreciate camo on a whole another level. She was so much more than a Home Maker and Caregiver. Tracie has a way of making everyone that came through her door feel loved and welcomed. She greeted all with a smile, joy and snacks! Her homemaking skills came from a place of desire to see to it that her children had a home full of love and joy. She did this daily for her children that now survive her Allie Moody Buchanan and Samuel Moody. They were truly the loves of her life! When Nick Buchanan joined the family she loved and treated him as a son. She gave to them her hearts full capacity. Taught themn that there is a solution to every problem, to always choose Joy and occasionally reminded Sam that he might need a bit more Jesus.Tacie loved love. She loved giving, receiving and sharing love! Her life accomplishments are the relationships she formed and nurtured with her family, friends and even strangers in line at the grocery store. Her mantra was Today I Choose Joy! That's what she did and the joy she brought was unparalleled.Just when she thought life was at its fullest it became fuller and Tracie's world exploded with love and joy at the birth of Kellum her grandson. His short time with his granny right next door forged a relationship that her death will not end. She will no doubt once again be someone's angel. Then there is her sweet Aiden whose arrival on this earth will come after her departure from it. Though the thought of it brings us sadness, Tracie (his granny) would want nothing but Joy and love to surround him. We will share her with him and he will know her love!We should all do the WWTD ( What Would Tracie Do) test in trying situations and respond in the way she would with Hope, Happiness and a joyful spirit!Above all else she would want us to always...Choose Joy!!.Receiving FriendsGeorge H.
