A Mass of Christian Burial for Veronica Burgos Rodriguez, 82, will be held at 10a.m. on the 13th day, October 2016 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 10472 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32246 with Fr. Jhon Guarnizo as Celebrant. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on 12th day October 2016 at the George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. Jacksonville, FL 32216; with a Vigil Service to be held at 6:00 pm. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery.She was born April 28, 1934 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico to Evaristo Burgos & Ana Cruz Rivera Burgos. Veronica passed into the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Jacksonville. She was a parishioner of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and formerly a long-time parishioner of Resurrection Catholic Church; she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Veronicas life was devoted to assisting others. She took great pride in volunteering at Taylor Home as a resident advocate.Veronica was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Maximo Rodriguez. She is survived by her loving children: Daughter, Anna Denise Candido; 4 sons: Edgar A. Rodriguez (wife, Annie), Andrew S. Rodriguez (wife, Diane), James A. Rodriguez (wife, Evelyn) & Philip A. Rodriguez (wife, Cindy); 4 grandchildren: Matthew J. Rodriguez, Jessica R. Candido, Mark J. Rodriguez & Caylah J.
