Victoria Rizk Shashy Victoria Rizk Shashy, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2014. Born in Jacksonville, Vicky grew up in Orlando where she was a valedictorian graduate of St. James School. Vicky was exceptionally devoted to her faith, her family and her friends. She was an accomplished organist at St. Edwards Chapel, NAS Jacksonville and occasionally played at Immaculate Conception Church. She was a devoted member of St. Cecilia Circle and St. Pauls Catholic Church. She was a consummate hostess and enjoyed preparing wonderful Syrian food. Her independence, determination and sharp intellect were truly amazing. Her secretarial business experience included the US Department of Transportation, Shashy Appliances and Stockton, Whatley, Davin & Company. Vicky was predeceased by Roy, her husband of 52 years. She is survived by her daughters Karen Kemp (Thomas), Donna Shashy, and Anita Booth (Donald), six grandchildren (Brian, Lauren, Brandon, Alison, Peter and David), three great grandchildren (Christopher, Joseph and Madeline), brother-in-law Josef Rizk, nieces (Melinda, Monica and Veronica), nephews (Paul and Andrew), and many great nephews, great nieces and cousins. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 21, at 11 am at St. Pauls Church, 2609 Park Street, Riverside. Visitation will take place at 10 am at the Church, immediately prior to the Mass. Interment will be held at St. Marys Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Pauls Church and School. Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
