Mrs. Conner was born on January 6, 1931 in Lake City to the late Wade and Elizabeth (Walton) Higginbotham. Mrs. Conner was a homemaker, a member of Grace Baptist Church, and she loved yard sales. Her biggest joys in life were her grandchildren and growing beautiful flowers in her garden. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years Earl D. Conner and their sons: Robert Edwards (Kim) of Texas, Larry Edwards (Kathy) of Valrico, FL, and Randy Conner (Priscilla) of Brooker. Sisters; Irene and Eunice and a brother; Dub Higginbotham, nine grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren. Viewing will be on Thursday, March 5th from 5 7 p.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel. Funeral services will be heldat the funeral home on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 11 oclock with the Rev. Jason Johnson. Burial will follow at Conner Cemetery.
