Mrs. Violet A. Stewart 90 of Starke passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at Windsor Manor Health and Rehabilitation in Starke. She was born December 14, 1930, in Callahan to Robert and Leah (Knight) Nettles. Mrs. Stewart was a retired seamstress and a member of the Congregational Holiness Faith. She enjoyed cooking, gospel music, and gardening, but her main focus was her church and family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons Dannie Carl Stewart and Freddie Woodrow Stewart and husband Carl Stewart. Survivors are her grandson Eric Stewart, great-grandson Jensen Stewart, and daughter in-law Elaine Stewart all of Starke. Also left behind are several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Stewart will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021, in the DeWitt C.
