Mr. Virgil Milton Jordan, age 89, of Starke passed away at his home on April 5, 2015. He was born to the late Lanceing Buryl Jordan and Effie Mae (Cook) Jordan on December 20, 1925. Mr. Jordan served in the Army and Florida National Guard for over 30 years as a Machinist. He was married to his lovely wife Tressie Mae (Tucker) Jordan for 68 wonderful years. Mr. Jordan was a simple man that enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: daughter, Beth Jordan; son, Virgil Duane Jordan; sisters, Lois W. Jordan and Danieal G. Martin "Boots." Survivors include his wife Tressie Mae Jordan; son, Gary F. Jordan; sister, Frances Barhite; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 2PM, with a visitation from 1PM-2PM located at the First Christian Church in Starke. Rev. Charles Soper and Rev. Jim Chandler will be officiating.
