Virginia Lee Cawley

Our beloved wife and mother, Virginia Cawley, 82, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, June 27, 2016. Virginia leaves behind a doting husband of 65 years, Jack Cawley; three daughters, Judy Daniel, Sandy McNeely and Tamara Del Rio (Darryl) of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Faye Nadine Woodward of Aiken, South Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Virginia was born in Carbondale, IL on December 12, 1933 and was pre-deceased by her parents, Howard and Vivian Gilbert of Augusta, Georgia. She loved to bowl and was on many different bowling leagues throughout her life in Gainesville. Virginia also loved to go shopping.A private burial, with immediate family only, will be held on Thursday, June 30th in the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.In lieu of flowers, donations in Virigina's name can be made to Haven Hospice, Gainesville, Florida or the Gainesville Florida Humane Society.
