Virginia Gatlin True

Mrs. Virginia Gatlin True age 94 of Starke passed away on April 24, 2020 in Gainesville. Virginia was born to the late James and Janie "Godfrey" Suttles on February 2, 1926 in Spartanburg, SC. Mrs. True lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with family, flowers, word searches, and making crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Russell Gatlin, Sr., and two brothers, Lila and Dot. Survivors include, her children, Sara Waring of Starke, Norma Rhoden of Starke, Ann Rhoden of Hampton, June Rhoden of Starke, Penny Padgett of Hampton, Buddy Gatlin of Hampton, Jim Gatlin of Hampton, and Bill Gatlin of Starke; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Private graveside services will take place at Dedan Cemetery with Pastor Daniel Findley officiating.
