Sue Wheeler completed her sojourn in this life on November 10, 2022 to achieve her eternal crown of salvation.She was born Virginia Sue Davis in Weslaco, Texas. She was the youngest of three children to Lawrence and Rosalie Davis on August 19, 1933 and called Gainesville her home for more than fifty years. She also attended The Glen Springs church of Christ her local congregation.She is survived by her children, including her son Thomas and wife Christine Holland, daughter Cheryl and Jimmy Lairsey, daughter Karen and Roger Creamer, and daughter Cindy & Larry Hicks; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.Sue is preceded in death by her husband Gordon R. wheeler, her former husband Douglas G. Holland Jr., her son Lawrence D. Holland, granddaughter Olivia and great granddaughter Ayla.Sue will be remembered as a nurturer, teacher, inspiration, and steadfast faithful follower of the Holy scriptures.Visitation will be held at Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel at 12:30 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday.Funeral Service will be held at Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, 725 NW 23rd Avenue Gainesville, Florida 32609 on Thursday November 17th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Servives for Mrs. Wheeler will also be live streamed through our facebook webpage. Burial/Interment will follow at Forest Meadows Cemetery East: 3700 SE Hawthorne Road Gainesville, Florida 32641.
