Vivian Virginia Bradley

Mrs. Vivian Virginia Bradley age 80, of Hampton passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at Shands Starke. Mrs. Bradley was born on March 23, 1936 in Wellborn to the late Wiley and Mildred (McCulloch) Williamson and was raised in Hampton. She attended Bradford County Schools, Santa Fe College and Lake City College graduating as a registered nurse with specialized training to work in a Coronary Intensive Care Unit. She spent 12 years working at St. Lukes Coronary ICU, worked at J. Hillis Miller Hospital emergency room (now Shands), Windsor Manor and Bradford Terrace (now Riverwood). She also retired from the Florida Department of Corrections and the Northeast State Hospital in Macclenny. Virginia was a Baptist and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, knitting, and decorating. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, L.P. Bradley, Son, Morgan Bradley and grandsons: Michael Bradley and Matthew Bradley. Survivors are: children: Lucian P. Bradley, Jr. Tammy Starling, Tracy Bradley all of Starke, Dale Bradley of Keystone Heights, and Tommy Bradley of Hampton, siblings: Lillian Slade of Hampton and Gloria Glisson of Tennessee. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL of Jones-Gallagher funeral home on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be on FRIDAY, JUNE 3, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. also in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL.
