W. Grace Harris

Grace Harris, 88, Alachua, FL, passed away, Friday, January 25, 2019. Born April 20, 1930 in Cordele, Georgia. Grace retired from the Florida Farm Bureau after working many years there. After losing her husband 21 years ago, her joy in life were her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In her passing, she leaves three daughters, Patty Hill, Alachua, FL, Debby (Joel) Crofton , Hohenwald, TN, Sandy (Edwin) Carroll, Alachua, FL; her four grandchildren, Marie (Robby) Pilar, Boyd R. Crofton, Capt USMC, Ashley and Emma Carroll; her two great-grandchildren Logan and Dean Elixson. She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Harris and daughter, Teresa Diane Harris. Her funeral service will be held at Santa Fe Baptist Church, 7505 NW CR 236, Alachua, on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Burial will be at North Pleasant Grove Cemetery following the funeral service.
