Mr. Walter Jeffery Davis, 50 of Starke passed away April 19, 2012. Mr. Davis was born in Gainesville on May 9, 1961 to the late Walter A. and Mildred (Cassels) Davis. He had served in the United States Army was a member of the Rock Primitive Church in Graham. Mr. Davis was involved with the recreation department in Waldo, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Joanna Davis and his children; Cori Brander of Keystone Heights, Noah Davis of Starke, Shane Davis, and Amber Davis, both of Waldo. He also leaves behind his siblings; Jimmy Joyner of Myrtle Beach, SC, Rob Davis of Gainesville, Janet Lester of Trenton, Kenny Davis of Alachua, Vicki Dortch of Clermont, and his seven grandchildren.
