Mr. Walter Jerome Frick age 95, of Keystone Heights, formerly of Starke passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. Mr. Frick was born on January 31, 1926 in St. Joe, Indiana to the late Frank Frick, Sr. and Ada (Taylor) Frick. He moved to Starke from Princeton, Indiana in 1946. Walter was a WW II Navy veteran, member of the First United Methodist Church of Starke and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 56 where he served as past commander. Prior to retirement he worked as a Supervisor for I.E Dupont Chemical Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Mildred "Midge" (Hall) Frick and son, Michael Frick, his siblings, Bonnie Greene and Donald Frick. Survivors are, his children, Ricky Frick of Indonesia, Dennis Frick of the Philippines. Also left are twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 56, 715 W. Edwards Road, Starke, FL 32091.
