Mr. Walter "Joe"" Saddler, Jr. age 86 passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Roberts Care Center in Palatka. He was born December 23, 1937, in Johnson City, New York to Walker and Edna (Meeks) Saddler, Sr. Joe started his first career as the head custodian for Alachua County School Board, then owned and operated an upholstery business, before becoming employed in the sales department with Allen Wallace Building Designer Parks until his retirement. He enjoyed watching the show Walker, Texas Ranger and, in the past, he loved playing golf. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter Robin Rought and a brother John Saddler. His survivors are his wife Marilyn (Denelsbeck) Saddler and children Michael Saddler, Thomas Saddler, Krista Saddler, Roger Saddler, and James Saddler along with a brother David Saddler. Also left behind are several grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
