Walton H. Lashley

Mr. Walton H. Lashley age 77, of Keystone Heights passed away at his home, Thursday, February 9, 2017 following a long illness. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 26, 1939 to the late Whitt Wheeler and Obera (Bassett) Lashley and had served in the United States Army. Mr. Lashley moved to Keystone Heights 10 years ago from Boynton Beach and was retired from Florida Department of Transportation as a Traffic Engineer. He was a member of Keystone United Methodist Church, a mechanical Engineer and enjoyed anything to with math. He also enjoyed watching sports on the television, fishing, refinishing furniture and playing with his puppy. Mr. Lashley was preceded in death by a son, Edward Walton Lashley. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy (Rogers); a daughter, Stephanie Laine Lashley of Keystone Heights and a son, Bryan Scott Lashley of Boynton Beach. Also left behind are five grandchildren. There are no scheduled services at this time. In lieu of flowers the family has requested the donations be made to St. Judes Hospital.
