Wanda E. Ball

February 22, 1943 – November 30, 2025

From the moment Wanda Elizabeth Ball was born in Richmond, Virginia, everyone recognized she was special. The only child of Agnes Colley Ball and Allen Turner Ball, Wanda attended schools in New Orleans, Sanford, graduating from Duval County's Special Classes in 1962.

Sharing the love of her many Boston Terriers, Wanda helped her parents in the house and garden. She became an accomplished craftswoman creating lovely shell jewelry, embroidered lines, plus sequined and beaded Christmas ornaments.

Never meeting a stranger, Wanda worked several years at Firehouse Subs, where she delivered trays, fixed tea, and made friends who would greet her all over Jacksonville.

Since 2021 Wanda has been a resident of The Terrace of Jacksonville where she wheeled about greeting visitors, comforting others, and rarely missing Bingo.

Wanda's cremated remains will rest between her parents in Sanford's Evergreen Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday 12/3/2025 at Moloney-Hewell Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd S., Jacksonville, FL 32216.
