Wanda C. Hunt

Wanda C. Hunt, 93, of Evans City, Pa., formerly of Gainesville, Fla., passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars, Pa.

Born May 13, 1932, in Dawson Springs, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Charley Joshua "Josh" Cunningham and Mary Minerva Higgerson Cunningham.

Wanda worked as an executive secretary for The Crom Corporation in Gainesville, Fla.

She is survived by one son, Michael Glen Hunt, of Evans City, Pa.; one daughter, Teresa Zimpfer, of Florida; and three grandchildren, Carla Willingham, Joe Willingham, and Sara Matthews; three great-grandchildren, Mark D. Weist, Meagan Collante, Brady Matthews; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Danny Hunt, whom she married Sept. 19, 1950, and who passed away Jan. 29, 1990.

Services and burial will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Forest Meadows Cemetery Tribute Center, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville. Florida.
