Mrs. Wanda A. Prevatt age 90 of Starke passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. She was born July 11, 1934, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Wavel and Myrtle (Christmas) Agner. Mrs. Prevatt retired as a Finance Secretary from the Bradford County School Board. She was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church where for many years she volunteered in the nursey. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing, and cooking, but most of all she loved her LORD and spending time with her family and especially the grandchildren. Mrs. Prevatt is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 73 years James Prevatt, Jr. of Starke and their children Debra Griggs (Ronald) and Donna Hartley (Michael) all of Starke, and Jimmy Prevatt (Lisa) of Hampton along with a brother Michael "Mickey" Agner (Bobbie) of Starke. She was lovingly called "Mema" by grandchildren Macy Stephens, Dane Stephens, Abby Bacon (Jordan), Emily Killingsworth (Brian), Will Hartley (Amber), Katlyn Reinken (Josh), Jake Prevatt (Kaity), Jenna Rowland (Brett), and Joel Prevatt (Vannessa) in addition to 18 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, March 3, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Josh Reinken and Pastor Harry Hatcher officiating.
