Waymon Lee Crace, 93, passed peacefully on November 15th 2021 in Jacksonville FL.He was born on August 3, 1928 in Leslie AK to Verline Gibbs and Andrew Jackson Crace.He served our country and retired honorably from the US Navy in 1970. In addition to working in real estate, he was a maintenance technician at several properties in Jacksonville. He and his wife, Virginia, were active members at Mandarin Seventh Day Adventist Church. His hobbies included collecting antiques and model railroading.Preceded in death were parents Verline Gibbs Crace & Andrew Jackson Crace and his wife Virginia Crace.Surviving family include stepson Dennis Rubin (Debra) Hickory NC, stepdaughter Cindy Thomas (Kenny) Jacksonville FL, grandchildren Emily Malpass (Matthew) great grandchildren Ruby and Sebastian, Raleigh NC; Elliott Rubin (Jesika) Atlanta GA; and Spenser Rubin (Margaret) and great grandchild Heidi, Raleigh NC.Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Heartland Hospice and Brookdale Crown Point.Mr. Craces final resting place will be next to his beloved wife in Jacksonville National Cemetery.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H.
