Wendy L. Smith

Mrs. Wendy L. Smith, age 52, of Keystone Heights passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at St. Vincents Clay. She was born July 18, 1967, in Juneau, Alaska to Jerry and the late Nora (Schryver) Johnsen. Wendy was a homemaker and had previously been employed by Hitchcocks Grocery Store as their produce manager. She grew up in the Keystone Community Church and in the past she enjoyed dancing and cooking, but most of all Wendy loved being a mom and spending time with her family. Wendy leaves behind four children Cory Smith of Keystone Heights, Taylor Smith of Jacksonville, Amanda Smith of Middleburg and Nicole Smith of Fleming Island along with her father Jerry Johnsen of Keystone Heights and three siblings Debra Chapman of Keystone Heights, Jeri Yacinich of Plant City and Carl Johnsen. Wendy also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and her longtime companion James Rabb of Keystone Heights. A Celebration of Life for Wendy will be held Sunday, November 10, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at AmVets Post #86 in Keystone Heights. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
