Wessie Pope Saxon, 90, went to her heavenly home surrounded by family on Friday, April 1, 2022. Wessie was born in Levy County, Florida to Albert and Ruby Pope on October 28, 1931.She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Saxon; 2 brothers, LG and Beryl Pope. She leaves behind 3 daughters, Gail (Lloyd) Allen of Starke, Joy (Evan) Drake of Togo, Africa, and Julie (Rob Stone) Christie of Hampton; 2 sons, Eddie (Tammy) Saxon of Lawtey and Timmy (Amy) Saxon of Mcclenny. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Hampton Cemetery.
