Funeral services for Wilbur Ellary Johnson, 85, will be held at 11:30a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from the graveside, in Jacksonville National Cemetery with Bishop Pop Williams officiating. Military honors will be presented by the United States Army. Born May 25, 1937, in Baxley, Georgia, to Abbie and Silas Johnson, Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in Green Cove Springs, Florida. A retired Lt. Colonel from the Georgia Army National Guard after 23 years of service, he was a member of the Church of Eleven 22, a Real Estate Broker, a Home Inspector, a Property Manager and the owner and operator of Wilbur E. Johnson, Inc. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carol Newton Johnson of Jacksonville; two daughters, Lee Ann Johnson of Jacksonville and Dina (Stacey) Auger of Chelmsford, Massachusetts; a son, Charles Ellary (Jennifer) Johnson of Grand Rapids, Michigan; a sister, Helen Smith of Alma, Georgia; five grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Rieley Auger, Ethan Auger, Emma Auger and Tyler (Korinna) Endres; three great-grandchildren, Kaylin Endres, Maci Endres and Bryson Endres; a brother-in-law, Clifford B. (Dolly) Newton; and a sister-in-law, Christi Newton (Lonnie) Foster. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H.
