Wilfred Harrison Wagner

Wilfred (Will) Harrison Wagner, Sr. 80, of Keystone Heights, FL passed into heaven May 12, 2019. He was born on July 15, 1938 in Palatka, Florida to Leon and Carolyn Wagner. His wife, Evelyn Sue (Suzie) and sisters Grace, Charlotte and Aileen preceded him in death. He is survived by his son Harry Wagner (Glenda), granddaughter Ashley Fishburn (Johnny), two great grandsons Ryan and Lucas and many nieces and nephews.Will grew up in Keystone Heights and lived there his entire life. His passion in life was singing and was a member of the Gospel Quartet called The Waymakers with his close friends Leo Hill, Jerry Stevens, Ed Hanner and his nephew Bill Austin. His singing passion took him to Nashville where he recorded several records and had the opportunity to sing with some of the great country musicians.As a young man, he worked as an auto mechanic by trade and had worked with car dealerships in Gainesville, Fl. Later on, Will and Suzie worked as counselors with the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch in the Safety Harbor Tampa area counseling and mentoring young boys and girls. They returned to Keystone where Will worked at Ace Hardware until he retired.Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on June 1, 2019 at the Jones-Gallagher Keystone Heights Chapel.
