Obituary

Will Goodlow Wolz, 90, passed away on September 23, 2012.He was born in Gainesville, FL on November 11, 1921 to Frank and Pearl Wolz. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the GHS Has Beens, a lifetime member of the Gainesville Lions Club, a lifetime member of the Eastside Garden Club, a Master Mason RT Schaefer Lodge #350, an honorary member of the Mimosa Garden Club and was a U.S. Army Veteran and served his country in the European Theater.He is survived by his wife, Mary Nell, two children, Ron Wolz of Clearwater, FL and Sharon Gay of LaCrosse, FL; two step-children, Lucy Terrell and Allan (Robin) Lowe all of Gainesville; two sisters, Catherine Delegal of Fernandina Beach and Edith Bridges of Jacksonville, FL, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 1:30 - 2:30 PM at the Chapel In The Meadows, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville. A service willbeginning at 2:30 with Rev. Lynwood Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606 or First Baptist Memorial Fund, 14105 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, 32606.
