Willa Dean Jones, 86 years old, went home to be with her Lord on April 20, 2026. She was born on February 9, 1940, in Fulton, Mississippi. Her childhood was filled with loving and happy memories of farm life, with her parents and two sisters. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1956.Later to Attended Florida State College.

Later in life she moved to Jacksonville, Florida and began her first career with The Jacksonville Sherriff Office in the Correctional Division. Her second career began as a Licensed Realtor with Coldwell Banker. After her retirement she enjoyed her time with her children and grandchildren. Willa enjoyed traveling, cooking special family holiday dishes and helping other seniors in her community. Her favorite interest was researching for endless hours and documenting Family Ancestry. Family Heritage was a very important love that she could leave for the future generations on all sides of the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ethelene Brown, and brother-in-law Bobby Jack Swinney.

She is survived by two sisters, Emogene Bradley (Wayne), Marvinell Brown Swinney; two sons, Jeffrey Kujala (Deborah), Scott Waggoner (Tara); one daughter, Cynthia Hawkins; grandchildren: Kiley Waggoner, Stevie Cossich, Jolene Cossich, Lee Matthews, Danny Matthews; great-grandchildren: Steven Matthews, Wyatt Matthews, Braden Bebout; her first great-great-granddaughter, Stevie Mae Cossich; and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Services will be held in her hometown of Hamilton, Alabama, with interment in Shottsville Cemetery.
